Siksika Nation Hosts Visitors from Hawaii and New Zealand for Cultural Exchange

In partnership with SHS through Recreation Manager Richard Running Rabbit and Schlumberger, we were honoured to host visitors from New Zealand and Hawaii for a tour of our facilities and an opportunity to share stories, culture, and experiences.

The visit highlighted the importance of building relationships between Indigenous communities around the world and learning from one another’s journeys in health, wellness, culture, and community development.

We were especially honoured that our guests presented gifts to Chief and community representatives as a symbol of friendship, respect, and connection.
