Indigenous Patient Navigation Program
Oki! Siksika Health Services aims to remove barriers and build community-specific capacity for culturally safe services that meet the needs of all Siksika Nation members through the new Patient Navigation Program. As this new program develops, this webpage will continue to be a source for new information related to the program.
Siksika Indigenous Patient Navigation Program

The Siksika Indigenous Patient Navigation Program is a vital part of Siksika Health Services’ commitment to culturally safe, person-centered health care. The Patient Navigator plays a key role in helping clients and their families overcome barriers to timely and respectful care, while facilitating collaboration between Siksika Health programs, provincial health partners, and community resources.
Through advocacy, communication, and coordination, the program supports Siksika Nation members and surrounding communities in navigating the complex health-care system, ensuring that every individual receives high-quality, trauma-informed, and holistic care.
