Clinical Services

Oki! Siksika Clinical Services provides primary care and diagnostic services, including laboratory testing and x-ray imaging. Clinical Services play an important role at every step of managing health conditions, from diagnosis to monitoring, screening, and prognosis.

Health care at the Siksika Medical Clinic is provided by family physicians and visiting specialists, both in-person and virtually via TeleHealth.

Primary Care

Three of our family physicians are from Blackfoot Confederacy Nations. Specialist care includes Rheumatology, Dermatology, Internal Medicine and prevention of chronic kidney disease. Each year, more than 5,500 patients are seen for primary care and specialty clinics.

Diagnostic Imaging

The Siksika Medical Clinic also provides diagnostic services, including laboratory testing, x-ray, and ultrasound.  Siksika Health’s diagnostic services are accredited with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta. All diagnostic services require a requisition from a doctor or nurse practitioner.

To ensure that Siksika Nation members have access to wide-ranging primary care services, Clinical Services has established unique partnerships and contracted services for service delivery with other service providers such as Alberta Health Services, Alberta Precision Laboratories, Mayfair Diagnostics, Metrocity Medical Clinic, and Harp Hearing.

The Siksika Medical Clinic sees more than
5,500 patients each year from Siksika Nation and surrounding areas.
