2026 Preschool Screening
Join Us for Pre-School Screening Sessions on August 26 & 27!
Siksika Health Services invites families with children ages 3-5 to attend our Pre-School Screening Sessions on August 26 & 27 from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM at the Deerfoot Sportsplex Gym.
What are Pre-School Screenings?
Pre-School Screenings are an important part of helping ensure your child’s developmental, health, and wellness needs are supported before they begin preschool or kindergarten. These screenings can help identify areas where children may benefit from additional supports and connect families with available resources in the community.
Pre-School Screening Includes:
- Developmental milestones screening
- Vision screening
- Hearing screening
- Dental screening
- Vaccination check-in
- Preschool health and wellness resource fair
Families will also have an opportunity to connect with Siksika Health Services staff and learn about programs, services, and resources available to support children’s health and development.
Families who attend can expect to spend approximately one hour completing the screening process and visiting available resource booths.

Appointments are available between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM on both days.

Advance booking is preferred to help reduce wait times and secure your preferred appointment time. Families who are unable to book in advance are welcome to attend as walk-ins.
