Siksika Elders Lodge Partnership Gives Back to Siksika Children

Siksika Elders Lodge (SEL) partnered with Westcor and Stawowski McGill for their Backpack for Kids Fundraiser. Backpacks For Kids is an annual campaign where organizations and individuals donate backpacks filled with school supplies for children in need. 

The Calgary community donated backpacks filled with school supplies to Westcor offices during the summer. SEL Staff assisted with the distribution to the schools, with the hope that the children who received them would be inspired in knowing that our Elders and residents at the Lodge and the companies listed, care and hope that this inspires their ongoing educational endeavours now and in the future.
