Niitawaakiiks Chicken Coup Program

The Niitawaakiiks Chicken Coup Program involves educational workshops for building chicken coups and caring for chickens, and allows participants to harvest eggs and meat-birds to create their own sustainable food system.

This program aims to build connections between the community and family, strengthening both local and traditional food systems while also acting as a land-based therapy.
