Government of Alberta Indigenous Healthcare Information Gathering Session

This is an important opportunity to provide our feedback to the Government of Alberta about how provincial health care is working for our people.
You’re invited to join an information gathering session on April 30 at the Siksika Piiksapi Memorial Arbor to meet with their team, and share your perspectives on how to improve health care for Siksika Nation members, and Indigenous people across Alberta.
The input provided by our community and others is intended to help the Government of Alberta prioritize patients and empower frontline health care professionals. Their goals include:
- Timely access to a health care practitioner
- Shorter wait times for surgery and at the ER
- Consistent access to continuing care
- Expanded access to mental health and addiction treatment
