Siksika Community Health Plan
Pathway to Holistic Wellness
Siksika Health Services is pleased to announce that we are officially launching our Community Health Plan development process.
Take the Survey – Share Your VoiceThe Community Health Plan we are developing together will be a long-term plan to guide the health and wellness services that support Siksika Nation. It will be built on what our community members, Elders, children and youth, staff, and partners tell us matters most. The plan will:
- Provide a clear, practical roadmap to guide health and wellness services
- Reflect the voices, values, and priorities of the community
- Identify current gaps in services and opportunities to grow and improve
- Support care that is coordinated, culturally grounded, and respectful of Siksika ways of healing and wellness
This work will be community-led and community-informed, led by Siksika Health Services, guided by Siksika Nation Elders, and supported by our partner, MNP, for strategic planning and advisory. The health and wellness of Siksika Nation is at the heart of this work, including the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and cultural well-being of our community members.
This initiative will unfold in phases from April through the end of November 2026.
Each phase will include opportunities for you and all community members to share your voice and perspectives, to hear from our partners and collaborators, to gather information, and make decisions together. You will receive updates about each phase and about the process overall as we move forward together.
Each of you has something important to contribute. Your professional expertise, your relationships with the Siksika Nation community and land, and your lived experiences all help to make this plan stronger and more relevant. Please share your voice by taking the survey linked below, and stay tuned for more information about how you can participate through other listening sessions and engagement activities as they are offered, and to help us spread the word about this important initiative with other community members.
Health and wellness are built together through relationship, respect, and shared responsibility. This Community Health Plan process is part of our commitment to do this work in a good way, honouring the priorities of Siksika Nation at every step.
We are grateful for your partnership, and we look forward to walking this path together.
