Siksika Health Services has prepared public health guidance for group gatherings to help Siksikawa to make informed decisions about gathering sizes and types throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Guidance will be updated as required based on the Siksika COVID-19 Risk Scale and can be applied to group activities, work meetings, community programming, cultural activities, other community events, therapy sessions, funerals, wakes, memorials, etc. Following of public health measures will help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and keep the community safe.
At this time, the risk level of COVID-19 spread on Siksika Nation is at a YELLOW – MODERATE RISK level. There is presently moderate, controlled COVID-19 activity on the Nation, with numerous, controlled clusters of COVID-19 cases, as advised by Siksika Health Services Communicable Disease Control (CDC) Team.
