Compassionate Communities Engagement Sessions

Palliative care is a shared responsibility for Siksika. As Blackfoot people, we have always looked after each other and our families.
Caregivers provide support for their loved ones in many different situations. Some examples include:
- Providing around-the-clock, in-home care, administering and tracking medication
- Bringing a loved one to appointments, delivering groceries, helping with household chores and maintenance
- Supporting the navigation of the healthcare system, including working with Home Care to develop a plan of care for the client
- Being a source of emotional support and companionship
Join us on February 1 to learn more about how you can support the Siksika Palliative Care program. There are two sessions to choose from to fit your schedule: 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Food and door prizes will be available. Everyone is welcome.
