DESCRIPTION:Siksika Mental Health & Wellness is pleased to offer a DIY Terrarium Virtual Workshop for Siksikawa who are interested in learning about how to create a terrarium and care for indoor plants. This workshop is offered in partnership with the Plant Shop in Calgary\, experts in indoor and outdoor plants. \nA terrarium is a sealed glass container for soil and plants. Terrariums can be beneficial for our mental health and wellbeing\, as spending time in the presence of nature and with plants is proven to help relieve anxiety and clear our minds. \n \nDate: Wednesday\, Feb. 2\, 2022\nTime: 2:00pm (virtual workshop is approximately 1 hour long)\nLocation: Virtual – from your computer\, tablet\, or phone. Information to access the virtual workshop will be provided by the instructor.\nMaterials included: \n\nStep-by-step guide to creating and caring for a terrarium\nTips and tricks for indoor plants\nAll materials supplied:\n\nglass container\n2-3 plants\nsoil\ndecorative materials\nterrarium information booklet\ncare instructions\n\n\n\nRegistration: Registration is first-come\, first-served. Complete the form below to register. The first 10 people to register will be accepted for participation.
