DESCRIPTION:Siksika Community Health Prenatal classes take place every Wednesday (March 20 – May) from 5:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m. Supper will be provided. Please register in advance by calling Kit at 403-734-5650. \n  \n \nLocation: Multipurpose Room at the Siksika Health Centre \nTopics will include:\n– Stages of pregnancy and prenatal essentials\n– Healthy eating and fitness in pregnancy\n– Labour and delivery\n– Postpartum care for mom and baby\n– Breastfeeding and formula feeding\n– Baby development and starting solid foods\n– Traditional parenting \nTransportation is available on request. DESCRIPTION:We’re pleased to announce the fourth event in the Reconnecting After Dark series: Siksika Easter Social Culture Night\, hosted by our friends at Siksika Prevention & Early Intervention\, in partnership with Siksika Health Services.\n\n\n\nJoin us for a family-friendly evening gathering in a NEW LOCATION: the Aikaayisaapi Reunification Building (see map attached) from 5:00-8:00pm on March 28th\, as we celebrate the coming of Spring.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe “Reconnecting After Dark” Siksika Easter Social event will feature:\n– Easter crafts & activities for kiddos in a supervised area\n– Round dance for one and all\n– Owl dance\n– Cake dance\n– Delicious snacks and refreshments\n– Live music\n– And more!\n\n\n\n\n\nReconnecting After Dark…because the opposite of addiction is connection. The intent of this event series is to strengthen the relationships we have as a community and promote inclusiveness and healthy activities for families and community members.\n\n\n\nWe believe that programs should be accessible to all Nation members\, and not just during work hours. We’re with you\, Siksika\, even after the sun goes down.
