It provides an outlet to help combat addictions and mental health issues during these unprecedented times . It also gives hope and promotes mental wellness by fostering connections with youth\, community members\, and brings families together. \nRegistration: $500.00 entry fee\, nonrefundable deposit of $100.00 due upon team registration. Amount must be paid in full by March 29\, 2023.\nPayments – Cash or EMT payments please send to bmanybears@hotmail.ca use password: volleyballclassic (all lower case\, no spaces) \nTournament rules & regulations\n– Age limit is 16+ (due to the competitiveness)\n– Format is 4 male / 2 female; 2 females must always be on court\n– Max 8 players per team (for merchandise count)\n– Team roster is final after last round robin game is played. No add on’s or exceptions for playoffs\n– There will be 2 pools of 5 teams. DESCRIPTION:Calling all community members within Siksika and the surrounding area!  Siksika Mental Health is hosting an an intermediate / competitive 2-day co-ed volleyball tournament on March 31-April 1 at the Siksika Deerfoot Sportsplex. \nAn event like this brings the community together through the transformative process of sport and provides an outlet to help combat addictions and mental health issues. It gives hope and promotes mental wellness and fosters connectedness for youth\, community members\, and families. \nRegistration: $500.00 entry fee\, nonrefundable deposit of $100.00 upon team registration. Amount must be paid in full by March 29\, 2023. \nPayments – Cash or EMT payments please send to bmanybears@hotmail.ca use password: volleyballclassic (all lower case\, no spaces) \nTournament rules & regulations\n– Age limit is 16+ (due to the competitiveness)\n– Format is 4 male / 2 female; 2 females must always be on court\n– Max 8 players per team (for merchandise count)\n– Team roster is final after last round robin game is played. No add on’s or exceptions for playoffs\n– There will be 2 divisions of 5 teams. Each team guaranteed 4 round robin games\n– Each round robin game will be best of 3\, capped at 25 points\n– Winning teams must ref the following games\n– There will be a time limit of 1 hour per round robin game (warm up included\,) all games will start on time.\n– Playoffs will be double knockout\n– All playoff games will be best pf 3\, up to 25 points; must win by 2 (no time limit)

DESCRIPTION:Siksika Wellness Outdoors is hosting a group hike at Troll Falls. The hike will be facilitated by Indigescape into the Canadian Rockies with Buffalo Stone Woman – Iinisskimmaakii. The group will meet at Troll Falls Trailhead in Kananaskis\, AB. on Saturday\, March 4. We hope you have join us to experience hiking through a Blackfoot lens—learning about relationship and connection to the land. \nThis hike is rated easy\, it is a  4km round trip that will take approximately  3-4 hours\, with a 178 m elevation. No prior hiking experience is required.  There are 10 spots available and the cost is free. \nWellness Outdoors is an initiative that is supported by Siksika Mental Health & Wellness. Through physical literacy\, the outdoor activities are designed to encourage and support the health and wellbeing of community members through exposure to the healing effects of nature while. \nYouth\, families\, and community members at risk or experiencing mental health difficulties and social isolation can benefit from participating in Wellness Outdoors. The goal is to restore our relationship with creation. Siksika Mental Health & Wellness will cover the costs for the event (registration fee\, outdoor equipment\,) and travel expense. Must provide own transportation.
