DESCRIPTION:Oki Siksika\, we hope you can join us for this year’s National Addictions Awareness Week (NAAW) events! \nNAAW week is Nov. 16-22\, and we’re recognizing it with a week of activities designed for connection (“Iyaakiitomanistooya” in Blackfoot\, meaning “going to connect”). \nJoin us for: \nNov. 17 from 5-8pm @ the Arbour: interdenominational event to remember our loved ones lost\, and start the week in a good wayWe’ll be joined by guest speakers\, Jacey Doore\, Louise Doore\, & Vanessa Doore for messages of encouragement\, along with spiritual leaders for an evening of blessing and prayer as we remember together our loved ones. \n– Attendees are invited to bring photos and memory items of their loved ones \n– Contact Traditional Wellness for information: 403-734-5611 \nNov. 18 from 3-4:30pm @ online\, with an in-person watch party at the Iiniikokan Siksika Shelter: virtual webinar to meet the team walking beside our Nation on the road to substance use recovery.
