DESCRIPTION:Oki! Siksika Health Services\, Mental Health and Substance Use Services\, is hosting a Three-Day workshop facilitated by Pam Sitting Eagle. \n  \nWalking with the Buffalo Within-Cultural Workshop \nOctober 14-16\, 2025 | 10am to 3pm \nSiksika Health and Wellness Centre\, Multi-Purpose Room \nTransportation: will be provided to the first 15 people; call (403) 734-5687\, provide house/map number and phone contact information \nRegistration: Open to the first 20 people\, must call (403) 734-5687 to register for workshop \n  \nFacilitated by Pam Sitting Eagle.  \nWorkshop: Will help create awareness on oral traditional stories for participants who are seeking a stronger identity to gain knowledge\, inspiration\, and self-awareness on how to walk in the footsteps of their ancestors who were warrior’s mind\, body\, and spirit. \nTarget: Those that have completed the Matrix program\, are actively attending AA/NA\, participating with the FASD program or are accessing the Mental Health program \nRational: Continued support for those in Active Recovery.

This program will provide a welcoming\, non-judgmental environment where people can share their recovery experiences and connect with others who understand the path we’re walking. Whether you’re just beginning your recovery journey or have been on this path for some time\, you belong here. \n \nThis program is open to Siksika Nation adults 18+ who have completed our Matrix program\, are actively involved in AA/NA support groups\, or are managing recovery independently.
