SUMMARY:Grow Your Own Food Gardening Workshop - Central
DESCRIPTION:Siksika Mental Health\, Siksika Nutrition\, and Buffalo Berry Farms are partnering to create a grow your own food gardening workshop experience. \nParticipants will be given garden beds\, seeds\, and gardening tools with the intention to grow their own food. \nParticipants are then invited to join a virtual workshop that will explain how to plant their seeds/plants\, common mistakes\, etc. \nFollowing the workshop participants will have an opportunity to meet the workshop facilitators at their homes and gain more help from the perma-culture experts. \nParticipants can register by emailing leslies@siksikahealth.com or calling 403-5630. \nParticipants must have access to the internet in their homes to attend and space for a large planter box (approximately 2’x3′\, raised 1.5 feet off the ground). Registration is limited.
