DESCRIPTION:The Ittasinno’P Siksika Food Centre is open to all Siksika Nation members\, both on and off reserve. Eligible recipients are asked to arrange transportation to pick up their hamper. \nHamper pickup is weekly on Tuesday – Friday from 1pm-4pm each day. Pickup dates/times are assigned during intake. \n\n\nMembers can apply once every 30 days\, if needed.

SUMMARY:National Addictions Awareness Week Volleyball Tourney
DESCRIPTION:Siksika Mental Health and Community Wellness are excited to host our annual National Addictions Awareness Week volleyball tournament on November 26 & 27\, 2021 at the Siksika Deerfoot Sportsplex. \n \n\nFormat: Co-ed – 4 men\, 2 women per team (to a maximum of 8 teams) \nEntry fee: $200 / team (must pay in full by November 25th). All proceeds will go towards the Siksika Shelter \nPrizes\, merchandise\, player awards will be given to top teams and players. \nPlease note that all players and attendees who are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine (born in 2009 or earlier) must be fully vaccinated (“fully vaccinated” defined as 14+ days after second dose of approved COVID-19 vaccine). Proof of vaccination records (QR codes) will be requested at the time of entry. \nTo get an Alberta verified COVID-19 vaccine record with QR code: \n\nVisit https://covidrecords.alberta.ca/home\nComplete the form – enter your Personal Health Number (Alberta Healthcare Number)\, Date of Birth\, and Date (month/year) of COVID vaccination\nSubmit the completed form\nPrint or save the QR code for future use\n\nIt is recommended that Siksikawa save a copy of their “Proof of Vaccination” QR code to their mobile device\, however if this is not possible\, hardcopies can be printed at the immunization clinic located at the Deerfoot Sportsplex\, Monday & Friday between 10am – 4pm\, and Tuesday-Thursday between 10am-6pm. \nContact Braden Many Bears for more information: 403-499-8605 or bradenmb@siksikahealth.com
