Beginning Monday, July 19, Siksika Nation’s COVID immunization clinic will be relocated from the Deerfoot Sportsplex to the Siksika Health & Wellness Centre.

Since May 2021, Siksika Nation has extended its circle of care to offer COVID vaccine to rural Albertans from surrounding communities of Wheatland, Vulcan, and Newell Counties.

As vaccine availability has become more prevalent, Siksika Nation’s COVID Vaccine Clinic will no longer be taking appointments for rural Albertans, effective July 19, 2021. Albertans can book COVID vaccine appointments at pharmacies and clinics across Alberta by visiting Alberta’s COVID-19 Vaccine Program website.

COVID-19 immunization will remain available to Siksika Nation members 12+ (including those who are turning 12 in 2021), and for those who live or work in Siksika or the surrounding communities of Gleichen, Cluny, Arrowwood, on a walk-in basis at the Siksika Health & Wellness Centre (no appointments required).

Beginning July 19, the clinic at the Siksika Health & Wellness Centre will be open weekly from 9:00am-4:00pm, Monday – Friday.
